Improvements to City Light Woods

History:

City Light Woods is located just west of 35th Avenue on 236th Street in Brier. The property, originally planned as a future substation for Seattle City Light continues to be their property. The City of Brier leases the land yearly with an agreement for the first right of refusal should the property become available for purchase.

This park is a passive park with a thick forest setting. It's location, within easy walking distance to Brier Elementary, offers the opportunity to use it as an outdoor class room for the students.
