TRAFFIC. 23600 block of Brier Road. 20 year of age white male from Bremerton driving a 1996 Ford Probe was stopped for excessive speed and illegal passing. He was cited for Reckless Driving and released.

FOUND PROPERTY. 21800 block of 36 Ave W. Officer found mailbox key in mail receptacle. Returned to owner.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 3100 block of 226 Pl SW. 52 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) removed and damaged the water main covers to her and her neighbor's water shut off valves.
STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERY. 5400 block of 212 St SW. 2002 Pontiac Montana stolen out of Tacoma recovered. Vehicle released to owner who was on scene.
TRAFFIC. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 18 year of age white male from Brier driving a 2004 Volkswagen GTI was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate revealed the registered owner's driving status suspended. He was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was released to a third party.

TRAFFIC. 22200 block of Brier Road. 37 year of age white male from Stanwood driving a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate revealed an unresolved report of sale. He was identified as the new owner, cited for Failure to Transfer Title Within 45 Days and released.
ARSON. 22200 block of Brier Road. 14 year of age black male student from Mountlake Terrace was arrested and booked on investigation of Arson occurring on school property. Pending further investigation.

THEFT. 2800 block of 227 St SW. 77 year of age white female from Brier reports someone took an antique ring valued at $1,000 from her residence. She suspects a friend of a family member.
TRESPASSING. 3600 block of 236 St SW. City officials located a structure being erected in the city park without authorization. The 30 year of age white male from Brier who was responsible was informed the structure will need to be removed from City property.
WARRANT SERVICE. 23800 block of 55 Ave W. 26 year of age Hispanic male from Mountlake Terrace was arrested at his residence for outstanding warrants and booked into jail without incident.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. Multiple incidents occurred throughout the City of Brier. Unknown person(s) went through city neighborhoods during night hours and spray painted graffiti on vehicles, residences and school property causing severe damage. Complete cost to repair unknown at this time.
HIT & RUN UNATTENDED. 23400 block of 39 Ave W. 38 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) driving an unknown vehicle struck his parked 2003 Nissan Sentra and fled the scene. Damage estimated at $1,500.

NARCOTICS VIOLATION / TRAFFIC. 21300 block of Poplar Way. 28 year of age white female from Lynnwood driving a 2005 Honda Civic was stopped for speeding. Computer check on the name revealed her driving status suspended. Search of the vehicle located non-owned prescription medications and suspected marijuana packaged for sale. She was cited for speeding and released pending felony controlled substance charges.

VEHICLE PROWL. 22000 block of Oak Way. 20 year of age Asian male from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered his locked 2001 Acura Integra by unknown means and took the steering wheel damaging the steering column. Damage estimated at approximately $1,600.00.
NARCOTICS VIOLATION / TRAFFIC. 2300 block of 228 St SW. 23 year of age white male from Bellevue driving a 2007 Ford Focus was stopped for speeding. Further investigation found him to be in possession of suspected marijuana. He was cited for speeding and Possession of Marijuana and released.
ASSAULT. 23300 block of 58 Ave W. 14 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace reports he was struck in the face by a 13 year of age black male from Mountlake Terrace causing injury. Referred to jurisdictional agency for further investigation.

ALCOHOL VIOLATION. 3200 block of 228 St SW. 19 year of age white female from Lake Stevens was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate revealed the registered owner possessed an outstanding non-extraditable warrant. She was identified as the registered owner. Search of the vehicle located large quantity of alcohol. She was cited for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and advised to contact the court regarding her warrant. She was released without further incident.
NARCOTICS VIOLATION / TRAFFIC. 2600 block of Elm Drive.19 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace driving a 1993 Geo Prism was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's son to possess and outstanding warrant. Investigation found the driver was the new owner of the vehicle and had not transferred title. During the contact the officer detected the odor of marijuana. Voluntary permission to search was obtained and suspected marijuana and paraphernalia was located in the vehicle. Both the 18 year of age passenger from Lynnwood and the driver were cited for Possession of Paraphernalia and released.
HUMANE. 24300 block of Brier Road. Officer observed a large golden dog in the street almost get struck by a passing vehicle. Officer took custody of the dog and located his owner, a 64 year of age white male from Brier, who was cited for Dog at Large.
MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 21800 block of 34 Ave W. 44 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) shot a BB pellet through his living room window causing approximately $2,500 damage.
WARRANT ARREST. 24000 block of 34 Pl W. 31 year of age white female from Brier was arrested at her residence for an outstanding felony warrant. She was transported and booked into jail without incident.
TAKING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT PERMISSION. 2300 block of 219 Pl SW. 49 year of age white female from Brier reports her 17 year of age son took her vehicle without permission. She did not wish to pursue prosecution but requested officers speak with him regarding the matter.

HIT & RUN. 3500 block of 232 St SW. White female from Mountlake Terrace reports unknown person(s) driving an unknown vehicle struck her parked unoccupied 1994 Chevrolet Cordova causing damage to the driver's side mirror. The suspects left the scene without providing information.
TRAFFIC / AGENCY ASSIST. Hispanic male subject driving a 2002 Jeep Liberty was stopped as the vehicle matched the description of a one which had left the scene of an assault which occurred in Edmonds. It was determined the driver and vehicle were not involved in the incident and were released.
SUSPICIOIUS CIRCUMSTANCES. 23300 block of 39 Pl W. 50 year of age white male from Brier reports someone put screws in his driveway where his vehicle travels. He suspects a neighbor due to a previous dispute.

TRAFFIC. 21300 block of Poplar Way. 24 year of age whit male from Brier driving a 1997 Mazda Protégé was stopped as computer check on the vehicle license plate showed it had expired. Computer check on his name revealed his driving status suspended. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and Expired Vehicle License and released. The vehicle was left legally parked at the scene.
TRAFFIC / NARCOTICS. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 20 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace driving a 2004 Honda Civic was stopped for no vehicle license plate. Computer check on his name revealed he had no driver's license. Search of vehicle located paraphernalia and suspected marijuana which was seized for destruction. He was cited for No Valid Operator's License and released.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 22800 block of 35 Ave W. 53 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) broke the back window on his 1992 Dodge Caravan causing approximately $450 to repair. The van had been parked in front of his residence.

She was identified as the registered owner, cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was left legally parked at the scene.
NUISANCE COMPLAINT. 2500 block of 217 Pl SW. 52 year of age white female from Brier reports her neighbor contacted her and complained about her son's drum playing. She was informed of ordinance requirements. No further action at this time.

WARRANT SERVICE. 3600 block of Larch Way. 30 year of age white female from Lynnwood was arrested at her residence for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and booked into jail without incident.
TRAFFIC. 21600 block of Poplar Way. 18 year of age white male from Everett driving a 1996 Volvo 850 was stopped for defective equipment. Computer check revealed his driving status suspended. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was released to a third party.
AGENCY ASSIST. 4300 block of 212 St SW. Assisted Mountlake Terrace Police with a Fraud investigation resulting in arrest of 18 year of age subject.

Computer check showed his driving status suspended. Search of the vehicle located suspected marijuana which was seized for destruction. He was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. The vehicle was left legally parked at the scene.
FOUND PROPERTY. 21600 block of 21 Ave W. Brier citizen reports he found mail on the ground across from his residence. The owner was located and mail returned.
