Another account had been opened on 040307 and had a balance on it. Account closed. WELFARE CHECK. 3400 block 232 St SW. 39 year of age white male from Everett requests welfare check of his children who are currently residing with their mother in Brier for the summer. He is concerned of the mother's suspected drug use and living conditions at the residence. Check of residence found no problems to report. TRAFFIC. 3300 block 236 St SW. Assist 19 year of age white female from Edmonds with pulling her vehicle out from a ditch, which she had accidently backed up into. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 23600 block Brier Rd. 41 year of age white female from Shoreline backed up her vehicle and accidently struck a transformer causing approximately $1000.00 damage. JUNE 30, 2007 HUMANE. 23100 block Brier Rd. 50 year of age white male from Brier was riding his motorcycle on Brier Road when a dog ran out in front of him, causing his motorcycle to strike the dog. Investigation found he had warrant out of Kirkland. Custody of subject transferred to Kirkland PD. INFORMATION. 23600 block Brier Rd. 41 year of age white female from Kenmore reports her ex-boyfriend, 48 year of age male from Bothell, sending her threatening emails and phone messages and was seen driving by her place of business. She was advised to seek an anti-harassment order. JULY 1, 2007 FIREWORKS. 3600 block Alaska Rd. 42 year of age female from Brier reports unknown person(s) lighting off fireworks at Abbey View Cemetery by Lost Lake. Suspects gone upon arrival. TRAFFIC/WARRANT. 21200 block Poplar Wy. 40 year of age white female from Lynnwood stopped and was found to have a suspended driving status 3rd degree. Citation issued. She was then booked into jail for outstanding warrants. DUI. 1900 block Vine Rd. Investigation of single vehicle traffic accident led to the arrest of 32 year of age male from Lake City for Driving Under the Influence. TRAFFIC / POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA. 21200 block of Poplar Way. Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup as it passed by their patrol vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and the 18 year of age driver from Shoreline and 18 year of age passenger from Lake Forest Park were contacted. Search of the vehicle located suspected marijuana. The subjects were warned and released. CUSTODIAL DISPUTE. 24000 block 33 Ct W. 40 year of age white female from Seattle reports her ex-husband, 45 year of age male from Brier, had not dropped off their son at her residence in the morning per their agreement. Investigation found no violation of their parenting plan had occurred. Officer attempted a traffic stop on a 25 year of age white male from Seattle driving a 1990 BMW 525. The driver fled in the vehicle, lost control and collided into a fence. The driver then fled on foot and was tracked by K9 resulting in apprehension. The subject was booked into Jail. RECKLESS BURNING. 22900 block of 27 Av W. 44 year of age white female from Brier reports her 76 year of age white male neighbor burning paper in violation of burn restrictions. Incident settled by contact. TRAFFIC. 21400 block of Poplar Way. 19 year of age white male from Maple Falls driving a 1997 Honda Prelude was stopped as record check on the vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. After further investigation the driver was released to a third party. Vehicle was impounded. Some of the personal items were later recovered along side the roadway. Unknown method of entry. He was to provide his driver's license number and bank account information which he did. He was later informed by his bank the email was a scam. WARRANT SERVICE. 2600 block of Elm Drive. 35 year of age white male from Brier driving a blue Ford pickup was arrested on outstanding felony warrant and booked into jail without incident. ELUDING. 21200 block of Poplar Way. Officer attempted to stop a 2002 Honda CBR600 motorcycle for expired vehicle license. The motorcycle fled and pursuit ensued. Officer then terminated the pursuit in the interest of public safety. PUBLIC ASSIST. 2700 block of 228 St SW. 53 year of age white female from Lynnwood reports her 3 year of age granddaughter's head was stuck in a gap between two bars within a toy structure at the park. Aid responded and cut the bars freeing the child. No signs of injury.
