No injuries. INFORMATION. 24000 block of Brier Way. 27 year of age white male from Brier reports the 28 year of age mother of his 10 year of age daughter failed to show for scheduled visitation. FEBRUARY 24, 2007 WARRANT SERVICE. 2700 block of 216 St SW. 19 year of age white male from Seattle located at Brier residence and arrested on outstanding misdemeanor warrants. Subject booked into jail. FEBRUARY 25, 2007 TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Brier Road. 54 year of age white male from Mountlake Terrace driving a 1992 Mitsubishi was stopped for defective equipment. Investigation resulted in issuance of citation for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. FRAUD. 3200 block of 214 Pl SW. White male adult from Brier reports unknown person(s) are using fraudulent checks with the name of his business as part of an internet scam. No crime occurred in Brier jurisdiction. TRAFFIC. Larch Way and Locust Way. 21 year of age white female from Lynnwood driving a 1994 Ford Explorer was stopped for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. Driver was issued a citation and released. Vehicle released to third party. FRAUD. 22600 block of 22nd Pl W. 46 year of age white female from Brier reports she applied for refinance loan via internet. She then received a check in the amount of $56,000 in the mail. She deposited the check. She was then contacted by a representative from the finance company requesting closing costs. She did not pay it. The check then returned stolen. No financial loss suffered. FEBRUARY 26, 2007 TRAFFIC. 22800 block of 38 Av W. 34 year of age white male driving a 2004 motorcycle was stopped for no license plate and no helmet. Record check showed his driving status Suspended 2nd Degree. Driver was cited and booked into Jail. Motorcycle was impounded. FEBRUARY 27, 2007 FRAUD. 2600 block of 241 Pl SW. 55 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown persons obtained cellular phone service by fraudulently using her personal information. Investigation found the suspect phone number area code is for the Chicago area. Pending investigation. MARCH 1, 2007 ASSAULT. 22800 block of Brier Road. 44 year of age Asian male landlord from Lynnwood reports he and a 43 year of age tenant engaged in an argument resulting in the tenant grabbing him and pushing him. The tenant was issued a citation for Assault 4th Degree and released. He later returned home unharmed and was removed from the system as missing. FEBRUARY 17, 2007 TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Old Poplar Way. 29 year of age Hispanic male from Everett driving a 1999 Chevy pickup was stopped for Suspended License 2nd Degree. He was issued a citation and booked into jail. Vehicle impounded. Search of vehicle located a small amount of suspected marijuana under the passenger seat. He was issued a citation for the suspended license and booked into jail. ILLLEGAL DUMPING. 2800 block of 236 St SW. 57 year of age white female from Brier reports her 57 year of age white male neighbor throwing yard debris from his yard onto hers. Suspect contacted and apologized for the violation. FEBRUARY 20, 2007 HUMANE. 22800 block of Brier Road. Citizen reports brown a Pit Bull type dog at large. Dog located and impounded. HUMANE. 23200 block of Brier Road. Citizen from Brier reports two Pit Bull dogs running at large. 24 year of age owner contacted and advised of leash law requirement. FEBRUARY 21, 2007 THEFT. 2900 block of 232 St SW. 46 year of age white male from Brier reports a 16 year of age white male from Lynnwood took his son's Ipod while visiting their residence. Suspect contacted and stated he would return the Ipod. FRAUD / IDENTITY THEFT. 21600 block of Oak Way. 53 year of age white male from Brier reports upon check of his credit report he found unknown person(s) had used his name and social security number to fraudulently obtain credit for a cellular account. The collection is in the amount of $2,111. Pending investigation. Clyde Hill reports suspect in custody who is in possession of a Brier citizen's banking records. Contacted the 34 year of age white female victim from Brier who stated mail had been stolen from their mailbox in January. Information forwarded to Clyde Hill PD for further investigation. FEBRUARY 9, 2007 IDENTITY THEFT / FORGERY. 24000 block of 29 Av W. 83 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) attempting to obtain a credit card by fraudulently using her personal information. The account was denied by the bank and no loss to victim or banking institution at this time. PUBLIC ASSIST. 22200 block of Brier Road. Assisted 35 year of age white female from Lynnwood in gaining entry to her 1996 Mercury which had the keys locked inside. WARRANT SERVICE. 2900 block of 228 St SW. 52 year of age white male from Kenmore came to the police station and turned himself in on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. Subject was booked into jail. FEBRUARY 10, 2007 TRAFFIC. 228 Pl SW and 228 St SW. Officer observed a 1998 Ford Windstar with expired vehicle license. Officer observed the van pull into a cul-de-sac and the passenger and driver switch places and drive off. Officer stopped the vehicle. Investigation found the 40 year of age female from Bothell who was now driving the vehicle had a suspended driver's license out of California. The 39 year of age white male passenger who had previously been driving was found to have no driver's license. Both parties were issued citations and released. The vehicle was released to a third party. Record check showed his driving status suspended. Search of person and vehicle located suspected marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms. Subject was booked into jail on felony charges. Vehicle was impounded. MISSING PERSON. 23000 block of 29 Av W. 42 year of age white mother from Brier reports her 15 year of age daughter runaway. Daughter was later located unharmed and removed from system as missing. CUSTODIAL INTERFERENCE. 24000 block of Brier Way. 28 year of white female mother from Malaga reports the 30 year of age father of her child who resides in Brier not allowing her access to their child in violation of parenting plan. Pending investigation. FEBRUARY 12, 2007 TRAFFIC. 2900 block of Brier Way. 49 year of age white female from Brier driving a 1994 Toyota Corolla was observed driving on 29 Ave W. Officer knew her to have a suspended license and outstanding warrant. She parked her vehicle at her residence, exited quickly and ran towards the house. Officer contacted her and issued her citation for Driving While License Suspended 2 and No Ignition Interlock Device. Subject was booked into jail for the warrant. MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 2600 block of 232 St SW. 50 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown suspect(s) egged her residence in the early morning hours. No apparent damage to residence. SUSPICIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES. 3600 block of 232 St SW. 59 year of age white female school employee reports a student had witnessed a male at a nearby residence holding a gun. Investigation did not locate suspect. FEBRUARY 13, 2007 TRAFFIC. 2200 block of Larch Way. 24 year of age white female from Everett driving a 1997 Ford Aspire stopped for Suspended License 3rd Degree. She was issued a citation and released. Vehicle secured and left at scene. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. 3100 block of 216 Pl SW. 42 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown suspect(s) entered his garage and stole two sets of golf clubs. AGENCY ASSIST. 21900 block of Old Poplar Way. Assist fire department with residential fire. Living conditions inside residence were a health hazard to both humans and animals as they had been since prior contact at that residence. Pending investigation. FEBRUARY 14, 2007 TRAFFIC. 23700 block of 27 Av W. 46 year of age black male from Seattle driving a 1980 Dodge pickup was stopped as check on vehicle license plate found the vehicle had been reported sold in January. Record check on the driver resulted in issuance of citation for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree. Driver was released . Vehicle left legally parked at the scene. HUMANE. 2800 block of 228 St SW. Received complaint of dog running loose in the park. 55 year of age white male from Brier was contacted and informed dogs are not allowed in the park. HARASSMENT/THREATS. 2300 block of 226 St SW. 16 year of age white male from Brier reports he received a phone call from an unknown caller who threatened to rape his girlfriend. Pending investigation. ASSAULT. 22200 block of Brier Road. School Official reports a 43 year of age mother of a student became angry while in the school office and began yelling and shouting obscenities. The subject was later contacted at her residence by officer. During the investigation the subject again became angry and assaulted the officer by striking and kicking. Subject was booked into jail on Assault charges. ASSAULT. 23700 block of 35 Av W. 44 year of age white male from Brier reports he was assaulted by a 25 year of age employee from Lynnwood. The suspect was being detained at the scene by co-workers. Investigation resulted in issuance of a citation for Assault 4th Degree. The defendant was released to a third party without further incident. FEBRUARY 4, 2007 DUI. 22400 block of Brier Road. 29 year of age black male from Seattle driving a 2000 Honda Accord 4 door stopped for driving in an inconsistent and erratic manner. Upon contact, the suspect driver was seated in the rear passenger compartment. Investigation confirmed he had been driving the vehicle. Odor of intoxicants detected. Further investigation resulted in issuance of citation for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Subject booked into jail. HARASSMENT. 22800 block of 25 Av W. 39 year of age white female from Brier reports receiving harassing phone calls from a 36 year of age white female from Brier. Assisted King County Police Department with arrest of 20 year of age white male from Brier for DV Assault which occurred in their jurisdiction. FEBRUARY 6, 2007 TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Brier Road. 35 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1991 Ford Explorer was stopped for defective equipment. Record check on driver showed his driving status suspended. Driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle was left legally parked at the scene.
