Referred to Snohomish County Sheriff's Office. JANUARY 25, 2007 INFORMATION/HARASSMENT. 23200 block of 35 Ave W. 28 year of age white female from Brier reports while she and her friend were walking her dog, they were verbally assaulted by a male driving a Nissan Pathfinder. Area check for vehicle and driver negative. JANUARY 26, 2007 TRAFFIC. 2500 block of 231 St SW. 23 year of age black female from Brier observed driving a 1992 Buick Lesabre was stopped as she is known to have no driver's license. Record check confirmed her not licensed. Vehicle and person were searched and no contraband located. Subject was cited for Driving Without License and released. Vehicle left legally parked at the scene. BRANDISHING A WEAPON. 22000 block of Oak Way. 15 year of age white male from Brier reports while skateboarding on the sidewalk a vehicle pulled up beside him. The passenger then brandished a knife at him in a threatening manner. The victim obtained the vehicle license plate. Pending investigation. FOUND PROPERTY. 21400 block of 38 Pl W. 67 year of age white male from Brier reports he found a home security safe in the bushes on the roadside. The safe had been pried open and contents removed. Pending further investigation. FOUND PROPERTY. 2400 block of 240 Pl SW. 27 year of age white female from Brier reports she found a hand grenade under her front porch. The grenade was a very rusty pineapple style. The grenade was found to be inert and was disposed of. JANUARY 28, 2007 AGENCY ASSIST. 23000 block of 35 Av W. Assisted Mountlake Terrace Police Department with arrest of a 24 year of age shoplift subject who resides in Brier. Subject arrested without incident. TRAFFIC. Vine Road and Tonya Lane. 19 year of age white female from Brier driving a 2006 Hyundai was stopped for speeding. Record check showed her driving status suspended. Driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and Speeding and released. Vehicle left legally parked at the scene. JANUARY 29, 2007 ROAD RAGE. 22800 block of 44 Av W. 20 year of age white male from Bothell driving a 1986 Ford pickup reports a subject driving a 1998 Dodge Durango was following him in an aggressive manner and shouting at him. Officer contacted the 32 year of age suspect driver who denied the allegations. It was determined both parties were partly responsible and were counseled regarding the incident. THREATS. 22200 block of Brier Road. Vice Principal of school reports 15 year of age female student from Lynnwood threatened to blow up the school. Suspect contacted and stated the comment was a joke. Student was placed on school suspension. Case forwarded to prosecutor. JUVENILE INFORMATION. 22200 block of Brier Road. School Vice Principal reports he received information regarding a possible assault that may occur after school. Involved parties were contacted, a 13 year of age white male student and a 14 year of age white male student. Both parties agreed there would be no further feud between them. JANUARY 30, 2007 HUMANE. 24000 block of 28 Pl W. 39 year of age white male from Brier reports his 8 year of age son was bit by a dog while at a friend's residence causing minor injuries to his face. Information only as father did not wish to pursue the matter further. COURT ORDER VIOLATION. 3500 block of 221 Pl SW. 19 year of age white female from Brier reports receiving phone calls and emails from a 51 year of age white male from Mercer Island in violation of Restraining Order. Referred to Prosecutor. FEBRUARY 1, 2007 DUI. 22800 block of Brier Road. 23 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup was stopped for stop sign violation. Odor of intoxicants detected. Further investigation resulted in issuance of Citation for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Driver was released at his residence. MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 21400 block of Elm Drive. Public Works employee reports unknown person(s) damaged trees and wrote graffiti on the restroom at the park. Approximately $250 damage. JANUARY 18, 2007 COURT ORDER VIOLATION. 2900 block of 228 St SW. 40 year of age white female from Arlington reports a 44 year of age white female from Concrete phoning her and threatening her in violation of Harassment Order. Case referred to prosecutor. JANUARY 19, 2007 WARRANT ARREST. 21400 block of 39 Av W. 59 year of age white male from Seattle driving a 1989 Ford Aerostar van stopped as record check on vehicle license plate showed registered owner to have an outstanding warrant. Driver identified as registered owner, arrested and booked into jail on the warrant. Vehicle left legally parked at the scene. 911 HANG UP / LIQUOR VIOLATION. 3100 block of 228 St SW. Dispatched to 911 hangup. Investigation found a 17 year of age white female from Lynnwood was having a party at her grandmother's residence without permission. Open containers of alcohol were observed in plain view. Other occupants at the residence were identified and found to be under the age of 21 and had been drinking. All parties were released without charges and left the premises with responsible adult. JANUARY 20, 2007 TRAFFIC. 21200 block of Poplar Way. 22 year of age white female from Brier driving a 1995 Jeep Cherokee stopped for defective taillight. Record check showed her driving status suspended. Driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle left legally parked at the scene. TRAFFIC COLLISION - HIT & RUN. 21300 block of Poplar Way. 63 year of age white female from Federal Way driving a 1994 Lincoln Continental was struck by an unknown driver driving a red Chevrolet pick up who fled the scene. Witnesses were contacted who also observed the driver of the pick up driving erratically. Next day a 44 year of age white male from Brier reported he found damage to his red pickup and due to medical condition does not remember driving home the previous day. The damage to his vehicle was consistent with damage to victim's vehicle and matched evidence collected at the scene. The Brier man was cited for Duty in Case of Personal Injury or Death or Damage to Attended Vehicle and Reckless Driving. JANUARY 22, 2007 FRAUD. 22600 block of 23 Pl W. 46 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) made $800 in fraudulent charges against his bank account. All charges happened in California. It is unknown how the suspects gained his account information. PHYSICAL CONTROL. 21300 block of Oak Way. 24 year of age black male driving a 1995 Honda Civic was observed speeding. When officer caught up to the vehicle it was pulled to the roadside with headlights on. Upon contact the driver quickly turned off the vehicle's headlights and removed the keys from the ignition. Odor of intoxicants detected. Further investigation found the driver had been drinking resulting in issuance of citation for Physical Control. Driver was released to third party. Vehicle was impounded. JANUARY 24, 2007 911 HANG UP. 23300 block of Brier Road. Dispatched to 911 hang up call. Found 51 year of age white male handicapped subject needing assistance. Settled by contact. JANUARY 25, 2007 TRAFFIC. 23400 block of Brier Road. 21 year of age white female from Seattle driving a 1995 Ford Explorer stopped as record check on vehicle license plate showed registered owner's driving status suspended. JANUARY 12, 2007 VEHICLE PROWL / THEFT. 2100 block of 213 Pl SW. 57 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered his 1989 Ford Econoline Van by breaking out the passenger side window and removed construction tools and equipment. JANUARY 13, 2007 TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 21900 block of Brier Road. 21 year of age white female from Brier driving a 2004 Honda Civic slid on the icy roadway into the curb. The vehicle following her, a 1997 Toyota Corolla driven by a 17 year of age white female from Brier, also lost control on the ice and slid into the passenger side door of her vehicle causing damage to both vehicles. No injuries reported. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 21900 block of Brier Road. 52 year of age white female from Lake Forest Park driving a 1993 Dodge Caravan pulled her vehicle to the roadside due to icy conditions and parked. A 17 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1988 Honda Accord then slid on the ice into her parked vehicle causing damage to both vehicles. Minor injuries were reported by passengers. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 23200 block of 38 Court W. 40 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1998 Ford Explorer slid on the icy roadway into a large mailbox stand causing damage to the rear driver's side window. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 3500 block of 233 Pl SW. 17 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1991 Isuzu Rodeo slid on the icy roadway into a landscaped portion of private property causing damage to the landscaping. TRAFFIC. 23000 block of Brier Road. 22 year of age white male from Lynnwood driving a 1999 Ford Escort stopped for defective headlight. Record check showed his driving status suspended. The front license plate on the vehicle was not the same as the rear plate number and was found to be expired and replaced. Driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and Improper Use of Plates and released. Vehicle was released to third party. JANUARY 14, 2007 TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 3500 block of Alaska Road. 31 year of age white male from Brier driving a 2003 Ford F250 pickup slid on ice off the roadway into a chain link fence causing property damage. No injuries reported. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 22800 St SW & 228 Pl SW. 58 year of age white female from Edmonds driving a 1998 Ford Explorer containing three passengers lost control of the vehicle on the icy roadway. The vehicle jumped the curb, went into an embankment striking a tree head on. No injuries were reported. Vehicle was removed from embankment by tow and driven from the scene. JANUARY 15, 2007 TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 21300 block of Poplar Way. 49 year of age white female from Brier driving a 1995 4WD BMW 530 lost control of the vehicle on the icy roadway and collided into an unoccupied parked 2001 Accura. No injuries reported. HIT & RUN - PROPERTY DAMAGE. 24100 block of Brier Road. 51 year of age white female from Brier reports an unknown person driving an unknown vehicle struck a school bus stop sign and left the area. JANUARY 16, 2007 THEFT. 23500 block of 35 Av W. 44 year of age white female from Brier reports her neighbors had found some of her mail on the ground next to the roadway. At this time it is unknown what items may have been taken. THEFT. 2400 block of 238 Pl SW. 43 year of age white male from Brier reports unknown person(s) removed one of the license plates from his 2002 Dodge pickup which had been parked at his residence. Plate entered into system stolen. JANUARY 18, 2007 TRAFFIC. 23500 block of Brier Road. 23 year of age white male from Spokane driving a 1979 Toyota pickup stopped for mud flap violation. Driver was identified as registered owner and driving status confirmed. Odor of marijuana detected. Three passengers were in the vehicle and identified. Record check on the 25 year of age white male rear seat passenger located outstanding warrants and him to be the respondent in a No Contact Order in which the 19 year of age black female rear passenger was the petitioner. Search of vehicle and contents located marijuana and pharmaceutical tablets. Driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Male rear seat passenger was booked into jail on outstanding warrants and Violation of No Contact Order. Other passengers were released at the scene. Pending further investigation. LFPPD had later arrested two subjects, a 37 year of age Hispanic male and a 29 year of age Hispanic male, who were found to be in possession of the victim's property. JANUARY 9, 2007 BARRICADED SUBJECT / WARRANT SERVICE. 2700 block of 214th St SW. Dispatched to a call of a suicidal 33 year of age white male from Brier trying to kill himself with a knife. The subject barricaded himself in his residence. The subject finally agreed to exit and was taken into custody on outstanding warrants and booked into jail. JANUARY 10, 2007 AGENCY ASSIST. 2300 block of Merill Creek Parkway. Assisted with officer involved shooting. JANUARY 11, 2007 SEXUAL ASSAULT. 21500 block of 26 Av W. CPS reports possible child sexual abuse to 2 ½ year of age female victim. Pending investigation. IDENTITY THEFT. 2200 block of 227 St SW. 64 year of age white female from Brier reports she received a phone call from a collection agency representing an energy company attempting to collect on a debt she owed. The victim reports she does not have any business dealings with the energy company. She phoned the credit bureau who flagged her accounts. Pending investigation. DECEMBER 30, 2006 HARASSMENT. 23000 block of 29 Av W. 42 year of age white female from Brier reports her 42 year of age estranged husband from Aberdeen repeatedly phoning her using lewd and profane language. Incident was settled by contact. DECEMBER 31, 2006 MISSING PERSON. 2400 block of 215 Pl SW. 37 year of age white male from Brier reports his 14 year of age daughter runaway. Investigation located the subject in the company of a 29 year of age white male from Kirkland. Case referred to other agency for possible Rape of a Child investigation. Entry gained through side passenger door which had been previously damaged. VEHICLE PROWL / THEFT. 2400 block of 214 Pl SW. 31 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered her 2006 Honda Civic which was parked in her driveway and removed a portable Audiovox DVD screen player and two movies. Victim was advised of the process of obtaining an Anti Harassment Order. VEHICLE PROWL / THEFT. 21300 block of Oak Way. 33 year of age white male from Brier reports on December 14, 2006 unknown person(s) entered his vehicle by smashing out the passenger side window and took a day planner containing checks and credit cards. He did not report the incident at that time. He has now been notified by a banking company someone attempted to cash one of his stolen checks. Pending investigation.
