All parties were counseled. MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 21500 block of 35 Av W. 72 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) smashed her mailbox. OCTOBER 28, 2006 AGENCY ASSIST. 4100 block of 236 St SW. Assisted MLTPD with Assault investigation. DUI. 2300 block of 229 Pl SW. 19 year of age white male from Brier was found passed out in the driver's seat of a 1993 Ford Escort with the vehicle running. Subject was determined to be intoxicated and was cited for Physical Control of a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated and booked into jail. Vehicle was released to registered owner. RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY. 21600 block of Poplar Way. 38 year of age white male from Brier reports upon returning home from vacation, they found two white males inside his residence. The subjects fled the area. K-9 tracked with negative results. One 19 year of age suspect from Edmonds later phoned the victims and admitted to taking items and staying in the residence. Victims declined to pursue charges. OCTOBER 31, 2006 BURGLARY. 3000 block of Russett Road. 46 year of age white female from Brier reports miscellaneous items missing from her residence. OCTOBER 20, 2006 THREATS. 3200 block of 223 Pl SW. 13 year of age white male from Brier reports he was threatened with a knife by a 14 year of age white male from Brier. Pending investigation. OCTOBER 21, 2006 BURGLARY. 2600 block of Elm Drive. 31 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered her residence by forcing the front door and removed her jewelry. On 101906 a resident reported an abandoned vehicle. 1991 Ford Aerostar van with expired vehicle license was tagged giving 24 hours to remove or impound. A male adult subject from Edmonds reports someone driving an unknown vehicle struck his parked 2007 GMC Sierra pickup and left the scene. Damage in excess of $750. OCTOBER 22, 2006 DEATH INVESTIGATION. 23300 block of 35 Av W. 53 year of age white female from Brier reports her 93 year of age mother deceased. Death determined to be from natural causes. OCTOBER 26, 2006 THEFT. 2200 block of Vine Road. 48 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) took items delivered by UPS from her porch. VEHICLE PROWL.21300 block of 38 Pl W. 35 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) entered her unlocked 2002 Chevrolet Suburban and rifled through her items. Nothing appeared to be missing. When officers arrived on scene, suspect fled on foot. Suspect vehicle left at scene contained stolen items from multiple victims. Investigation pending. He was transported to hospital by aid. OCTOBER 14, 2006 TRAFFIC. 23600 block of Brier Road. 31 year of age white male from Arlington driving a 1987 Honda Accord stopped as records check showed vehicle had sold June 2006. Citation issued to driver for Failure to Transfer Title Within 45 Days. THEFT. 22800 block of 39 Pl W. 51 year of age white female from Brier reports her residence keys stolen by her 18 year of age daughter. The keys were later returned. OCTOBER 16, 2006 TRAFFIC. 22800 block of Brier Road. 27 year of age white female from Shoreline driving a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix failed to stop at stop sign. She did not have proof of insurance, and provided a false name and date of birth. License located in her purse which she attempted to conceal contained her true identity. She was found to be Suspended 3rd Degree. She was cited for violations and released to third party. Vehicle impounded. TRAFFIC ACCIDENT. 21500 block of Poplar Way. 42 year of age male from Bothell driving a 1993 Plymouth Sundance was traveling southbound on Poplar Way when he stopped to grant access to vehicle he believed was going to turn onto Poplar. He was then struck from behind by 22 year of age male driving a 1994 Dodge Ram. No serious injuries reported. HARASSMENT. 22800 block of 35 Ave W. 85 year of age white female from Brier reports receiving calls of an inappropriate nature over the past three weeks. She was advised to put a block on her phone. TRAFFIC. 21400 block of Poplar Way. 58 year of age black male from Seattle driving a 1991 Jeep Cherokee stopped as check on vehicle license plate showed registered owner's driving status suspended. Driver identified as R/O and cited for Driving While License Suspended 1st Degree. Vehicle left legally parked at scene. OCTOBER 18, 2006 IDENTITY THEFT/FORGERY. 24000 block of 29 Av W. 83 year of age white female from Brier reports unknown person(s) attempted to obtain a credit card account using her personal information. The account was not granted. HUMANE. 2900 block of 228 St SW. A pack of four dogs observed running at large. One dog was apprehended. Attempts to locate owner proved negative. Dog was impounded. OCTOBER 19, 2006 HUMANE. 21600 block of Poplar Way. Citizen reports dog running at large. Dog was located and appeared to be injured. Unable to locate owner. Dog was transported to an animal hospital by complainant. Record check found her driving status suspended. She was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd and released. Vehicle driven from scene by third party. OCTOBER 8, 2006 VEHICLE THEFT/MALICIOUS MISCHIEF. 23600 block 29 Pl W. 23 year of age white female from Brier reports her brother, 26 year of age white male from Brier, took her vehicle without her permission, and broke into her house, causing damage to a garage door. OCTOBER 9, 2006 TRAFFIC. 23600 block Brier Road. 41 year of age white female from Brier driving a 2000 Suzuki Vitara stopped as check showed her to have outstanding warrants and her driving status Suspended 3rd Degree. TRAFFIC. 3200 block of 228 St SW. 23 year of age white male from Brier driving a 1994 Volkswagen Jetta stopped as record check on vehicle license plate showed registered owner's driving status suspended. Driver identified as R/O and driving status confirmed. Driver was cited for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and released. Vehicle released to third party.
