She could not understand him so just told him, "No". When the subject was leaving she observed another male run in front of her residence and leave in a white pickup. She then noticed her garage door ajar. Nothing appeared missing. TRAFFIC. 2300 block of 228 St SW. 24 year of age white male from Everett driving a 1990 Acura Legend stopped as record check on vehicle license plate showed the registered owner's driving status suspended. When he went to cancel the cards he found fraudulent purchases had been made in the amount of $94. Pending investigation. MAY 31, 2006 FORGERY/FRAUD. 22800 block of 27 Av W. 73 year of age white female from Brier reports she received a notice informing her she had won a lottery in London, England with a check in the amount of $2,888 attached. She contacted the company who informed her to deposit the money then withdraw it and send it via Western Union to a subject in London and she would receive $90,250. When the victim went to wire the money, she was informed by Western Union of the scam and to contact the police. Victim was directed to redeposit the funds to her account. THEFT. 3300 block of 227 St SW. 59 year of age white male from Brier reports some of his wife's jewelry missing. Jewelry valued at approximately $3,825. Victim suspects a family member. The victim was then found to be in possession of a pocket knife at school. Both students were expelled from school. Upon attempted delivery, the delivery driver found the business closed. The windows were then delivered to a residence in Brier. Investigation found the windows had been delivered to their proper locations and no criminal activity occurred.
