BRIER PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES

called the Brier Planning Commission meeting to order at 7:01 PM.
ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioners DeMorett, Ficker, Hanson and
Schneider.
Absent: Commissioners Campbell and Krueger.
Staff: City Planner Michaelis.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Pro-Tem Chair Schneider opened for consideration approval of the
July 15, 2026 Planning Commission minutes. Motion: Approve the July 15, 2026 Planning Commission minutes, Moved by Commissioner DeMorett, Seconded by Commissioner Ficker. Motion Carried.
STAFF UPDATES:
Councilmember Othman updated the
Commissioners on recent Council activity.
City Planner Michaelis gave an update
on various city projects.
PUBLIC REQUESTS & ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: None.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:
Commissioner
Hanson asked what is the process to approach the city
to request sidewalk installation in his neighborhood.
AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING (September 16, 2026):
Planner
Michaelis advised at the next meeting they will receive Open Public Meeting
training.
ADJOURNMENT:

declared the meeting adjourned at 7:11 PM.
