  1. Anderson Swope Secondary Dwelling Unit Conditional Use Permit (CUP23-10) and Modified Septic System Conditional Use Permit (CUP23-11) Consolidated Public Hearing.

    Pursuant to RCW 36.70B.120(2) titled Consolidated Review, if a project action requires project permits from more than one category, the local government shall provide for consolidated permit review with a single open record hearing and no more than one closed record appeal as provided in RCW 36.70B.060. The purpose of this public hearing is to hear public testimony on CUP23-09 and CUP23-10. The applications are two separate requests for two Conditional Use Permits (CUP). The first CUP would allow for the construction of a Secondary Dwelling Unit on the property located at 22320 Hickory Way Brier, WA 98036 and the second CUP would allow for the modification of an existing on-site septic system on the same property to support the Secondary Dwelling Unit. Pursuant to Brier Municipal Code (BMC) Section 17.24.010.C.1, a Conditional Use Permit is required for the construction of a Secondary Dwelling Unit. In addition, per Section BMC 13.12.010, all new septic systems to be installed in the city or any failed septic system that requires rebuilding or replacement requires a conditional use permit.
7. NEW BUSINESS
  1. Planning Commission 2022 Annual Report

    BMC 2.12.070 requires that the Planning Commission keep written records of its meetings and that the commission make a full report in writing to the City Council of its transactions and expenditures, if any, for the preceding year, with such general comments and recommendations as to matters within its jurisdiction that it deems appropriate.
